Dawn Capra Co-Owner/Head Coach

Dawn created 3CA (first known as Cape All Stars) in 1997, and she has been giving her time and energy to the Cape Cod cheer community for decades. Her love of Cheer was born during her years at Triton Regional High School. Since that time she has accumulated over 30 years of coaching experience at the Youth, Pop Warner, High School and All Star levels. Dawn attends numerous workshops, camps and clinics, and also judges at Massachusetts and Rhode Island high school cheer competitions. At 3CA, Dawn's on the floor leadership and experience motivates the teams and staff to work towards success. She is a credentialed member of USASF, A.C.C.A. Certified, and also CPR and First Aid certified.


Melissa Solomon Co/Owner/Admin

Melissa became a part of the 3CA family in 2004, when she walked through the door to sign up Chloe. Little did she know that almost 15 years later, she would be not only a co-owner, but a driving force behind the continuing growth of 3CA. You can usually find her behind the desk coordinating everything it takes to make the gym run.

Karen Hepinstall

Karen has been coaching since 1994. She started at Nauset High
school with the Basketball Squad. In 1998 Nauset started a football team and Karen started the Football Squad. Karen coached the Nauset team until 2017. They competed at the league and regional levels, all Girl and coed. Karen joined 3CA as a parent in 2011 when Emma was on Mini Dragons. She came on board the coaching staff in 2012 with Mini Wildfire. She is certified by MSSAA, AACCA and USASF.


Emme Capra

Emme has pretty much grown up at 3CA. She started cheering at the age of 4 and has been on teams for 15 years. She has also been a team and tumbling coach for the past 5 years. Emme has also cheered at Barnstable High School, where she was a Varsity Cheerleader and Captain.


Caeley Whatley


Caeley started cheering her freshman year of high school until she was 19. She has crossed over many years and has experience basing and back spotting. She has coached for 2 years, one of which her team won nationals. She has been a dedicated member of Cape Cod Cheer Academy for many years. Her favorite food is steak.


Olivia Moos

Liv started cheering in fourth grade. She has completed five years as an athlete and two as a coach, leading her team to grand champs at a competition her first year of coaching. Liv has experience with every position in a stunt and has crossed over many times as well as cheering with Varsity high school teams since the eighth grade. Liv has received MVP from her 3CA coaches 3 times over the years and "Miss 3CA" once. Her favorite food is Buffalo Chicken Fingers.


Dan Solomon


Dan is known to most as Melissa's husband, and 3CA's "Big Daddy." Along with Melissa, he has invested a great deal into the continuing growth of 3CA. You will see him at competitions supporting our teams, and helping out the coaches and athletes in many different ways.
His favorite show is Survivor.
